Keewaytinook Okimakanak communities have mandated the establishment of a KO Board of Eduation.  The KO Board of Education is committed to seeing the growth of educational programming in the KO communities, with the vision of *"Move Education Forward."  KO Education will work in close partnership with the KO communities to ensure Early Literacy and First Nations Student Success Programs are fully implemented.  KO Education will coordinate all Keewaytinook Okimakanak Education programs under the Board of Education organization.

KOBE Teachers Attend Google Summit in Toronto -

At the end of October the Technology Lead teachers from each of the KO communities travelled to North York, Toronto, ON for a conference on Google Apps for Education (GAFE). Teachers learned how to create and design innovative lessons using Chromebooks, iPads and other new technologies.
